Dr. Arindam Kundagrami is a scientist who works as an Associate Professor in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata). He did his BSc in Physics from Presidency College, Kolkata and MS in Physics from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Then he did his PhD in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from University of Pennsylvania, USA. After finishing his post-doctoral work in Theoretical Polymer Physics at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, he joined IISER Kolkata. He has published notable works on the physics of liquid crystals and polymers. In IISER Kolkata he served as the Dean of Students Affairs for three years.
Mr. Biswajit Chakraborty has done his Master Degree from Calcutta University in Economics. At present he is working in the State Tax(GST), Government of West Bengal in the capacity of Assistant Commissioner. He is the founder Member of “Pratyay”, a philanthropic organisation which is working in the field of biodiversity & providing economic and social empowerment of the have-nots.
Mr. Biplab Das pursued an M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications) from Jadavpur University. Working as PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in Computer Science in New Delhi. He is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Sarkar earned M.V.Sc (Master of Veterinary Sc) from West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences. Now he is Veterinary Officer at Block Animal Health Centre (BAHC), Jamalpur, Purba Bardhaman under WB Govt.
Dr. Jayajit Das is an Associate Professor at the Battelle Center for Mathematical Medicine at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Ohio State University at Columbus, Ohio (USA). His lab uses theoretical and computational approaches based on statistical physics to uncover basic mechanistic principles underlying our innate and adaptive immune response with potential implications for infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer.
Mr. Sandip Mukherjee graduated in B.Com (Hons.) from Calcutta University. Presently associated with Bhanu Farms Ltd taking care of Distributive Trade for East, South, and Western India as a Regional Sales Manager. Apart from being experienced sales professional with a strong history of managing client relationships and drastically increasing revenues, he stands in a prime position to significantly contribute to the objectives of the Afflatus Foundation.
